About Oodles of Freedom
‘Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you’ve imagined.’ Henry David Thoreau
It sounds so easy right? Going confidently in the direction of your dreams. But what if you’ve become so caught up in everyday life you’ve lost track of what those dreams even are? Or maybe they seem so unrealistic that maybe they are just that, dreams, never to be realised. So going confidently towards them?? No – too hard!
Well I believe there is a different way, and its one that I am working towards, step by tiny step myself! I believe that we can all live the life of our dreams, no matter what they may be. A job you love, a 4 day week, enough time to spend quality time with friends and family, health and fitness, travel and adventures. It may not always be the easiest path, but I believe that with courage and determination anything is achievable.
I work with lovely people (just like you!), supporting you as you move towards the life of your dreams
Maybe you are feeling a bit (or a lot!) stuck, or are wondering if there should be more to life, but are not sure which way to turn or how to go about changing things. Well let me help you figure it out!
I use the power of coaching to help you move forwards. I ask the tricky questions which you may have been avoiding asking yourself to help you find clarity. And I champion you to see the amazing possibilities at the times when you might feel its impossible.
I use the outdoors as my ‘workspace’ (and playspace!), from individual coaching sessions on the beach or in the park to multi-day group adventures combining camping, and hiking, or cycling or kayaking, you will soon be moving forward both figuratively and physically!
I find its pretty hard not to be inspired and get things in perspective when taking some time out in the beauty of nature, and I believe that it will enable you to find inspiration and perspective too!
So why not give it a try?
I offer free taster coaching sessions and inspirational monthly Sunrise Sessions at Maroubra Beach so you can dip your toes in and see if the Oodles of Freedom way is for you. Please get in touch or have a look at my programs for more details.
‘Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?’ Mary Oliver
I studied Mechanical Engineering at University but have come a long way along a less than straightforward career path since then! To date, I’ve worked as a project manager, construction site manager, renewables consultant, outdoor activity programs coordinator and leadership course coordinator to name but a few!
I stumbled across coaching back in 2014 when I was wondering if I would ever find work that I loved. From my very first introduction to coaching, a free weekend’s introduction to coaching, I was intrigued and hooked! In February 2017 I completed my diploma in Coaching, Mentoring and Interpersonal training with the Global Coaching Academy. I trained and coach according to the International Coaching Federation standards.
Outside of work & study I’m a big fan of the outdoors and love spending time at the beach, in the mountains or in or on the water! I have been thoroughly enjoying exploring all that Sydney and its surroundings have to offer with friends, my partner Mark, and our van Stannie. For the last few years, I have taken on a birthday challenge which most recently saw me going camping every week for a year! Now that challenge is done and dusted I am enjoying spending the occasional weekend at home!
Oodles of Freedom combines so many of my passions; an interest, curiosity and strong empathy with others, a love of the outdoors and a firm belief that we are all so much better for spending time in nature. I’m so excited to be started Oodles of Freedom and look forward to meeting and working with amazing people, just like you.
So that’s me, do write and tell me about you, I would love to hear from you.
